#cis gendered

I'm Gender Fluid, I experience a lot of gender envy from female, male, and non-binary people. I know what it's like to feel the pain of not being able to be how you want to be.

Why would anyone who know that pain say that others can't experience or express that pain? Why would you exclude people just because of a term they use to describe themselves? Hadn't you stop to think that they may be Trans/NB but haven't come to realize it or are still new and unexperienced in expressing their gender identity?

Or there are people who don't feel completely cis, but still go by that term because they don't feel any of the others fit them OR because they're not in a safe place/space to come out.

LGBTQAA+ people have been suppressed for so long, the pain we've been forced to endure is so rare and real still.

BUT that does not give any of us to treat others like shit.

I understand if someone's making fun of or making light of gender envy, that's not what I'm defending. I'm defending the people, who in all sincerity are trying to be open and expressive of how they feel and are in turn being shat on for it.

TLDR: Just because you're non-binary/trans/gender fluid doesn't give you the right to police how others who you think aren't "LGBTQAA" enough or at all. Everyone has a right to feel insecure about things and they have a right to safely express that regardless of your judgment.

i appreciate you really trying to be respectful when asking! but you dont have to worry, your question isnt offensive at all. and i also never understood it before and i asked people! so thats how i knew. :)

anyway, cis means you identify with the gender you were assigned to at birth! and since i am born a boy or male and i identify as being a boy (refer me as he/him/his), this makes me cis. likewise, if you were assigned a girl/female at birth, and identify as being a girl then you are still cis.

on the otherhand, there are people who do not identify as the gender assigned to them at birth and they prefer other pronouns. like a person assigned as male at birth may prefer female pronouns (her/she). or a person assigned as female may prefer male pronouns. even sometimes, there are people who want to be preferred as a gender neutral pronoun instead like they/them.
