Checkup|| Lime&Jongsuk
Perhaps the easiest way for Lime to get back into her normal state of mind was by simply picking up where she had left of. Throughout her life she had gotten used to carrying on with things like nothing untoward or even traumatic had happened, so now was certainly not going to be any different. Her headaches had faded, which was certainly a plus, and physically she was on the mend, she could stand to heal minor wounds and ailments without getting too light-headed, however to speed up her recovery she had to drain her supply of her own, personal medicine. The thought of replenishing the stock made her skin crawl with dread.
Her eyes remained fixed upon the book before her, flipping the pages with little interest as she tried to find the data for her next patient. When she had deemed herself able enough to perform check ups, disregarding any complaints from the few performers who spoke to her as they deemed her not well enough to do such thing, she had sent out a notice to the performers and staff members with the aid of some of the younger members of the cirque whose sole purpose seemed to be running errands for their elders.
The healer's first port of call was Min, shortly followed by Fei and Hongki. The first had been a pain to find, though she kept to her tent most of the time she seemed to have a knack of knowing when Lime was on the hunt for her and ran off somewhere unknown to hide, she had to round up some of the other performers to help her capture the injured girl. The other two had been fine, though definitely shaken, there were questions as to why she was performing these check ups when, aside from perhaps Min, the only damage upon them was the psychological kind, in which case they would be better off seeking Ara or someone else with psychic abilities. She had cut them off, quite rudely so as she had been annoyed at such a comment, by curtly explaining that psychological illness and damage can quite easily transfer to physical, through illness or injury. In truth, she had just wanted to see them all. So she herself knew that they were okay.
This was the reason why she had nearly overlooked new performers when she had scheduled her check ups, quickly writing them in right at the end with a feeble excuse of them 'needing more time' as they were knew and she needed to gather information on each and every one of them. Though this was not entirely a lie it certainly wasn't the reason why she put them off until the end. Though they were technically part of her extended family within the cirque now she didn't know them, not like she did the ones present before she left. Indeed some of them she knew very intimately as physical check ups did not just stop at the hem of the clothes.
Finally, after much day dreaming and skipping of pages, Lime had come across the information she was looking for. Lee Jongsuk. Her mind dwelt upon the name for a while until a smile spread across her face as she read further on, remembering full well who this person was. Like her, Jongsuk had been in the circus for three years, and again like her he was twenty years old. However if her memory served her right, unlike her he had been quite shy and reserved. Lime had hardly gotten the chance to investigate him, for medical purposes of course, and just like with Zelo, this made the blonde want to investigate him. As far as she could recall he had been sweet, perhaps a bit too quiet for her liking but nevertheless nice. The details to follow were the same as always, a description of his ability, who he rooms with on the island and who he shares a tent with whilst travelling. The notes section afterwards usually contained any necessary medical information about the performer, far too many of them had details surrounding fetishes within them, however this one was peculiar.
Clearly disturbed by something from his past yet refuses to say what exactly. Quiet and timid, potentially at risk from his self. One to watch. One to protect.Â
The girl could not quite remember why she had wrote such a thing at the end of his medical notes, frowning in confusion. It was obvious what it meant but the 'one to protect' was certainly out of character for her. If someone had clear mental issues surrounding them she transferred them to someone who knew how the mind worked, as Lime merely dealt in physical ailments, yet nothing suggested that she had done such a thing with this particular case. The only thing she could think of was her having picked him as one of the select few people to keep her own fears at bay, but if she could barely remember the boy what was it about him that made him so special?
Her eyes drifted to her watch and let out a sigh, whatever it was she would be discovering it soon, his scheduled appointment time would be drawing near and, with any luck, he wouldn't be stupid enough to try and skip it. Many people had seen Lime go on the war-path already when people conveniently 'forgot' their appointments. Her time was not to be wasted.
