friends: as said, he has plenty of “friends” among the commoners, whores, drunks, and bards all around his kingdom. but real friends, it is a tricky question. he surrounds himself with poets, singers, musicians and young military officers, some he might call friends. his ministers are just that, his ministers. he does not see them as “friends” but he does value their input and advise. he is quite gregarious, although he also has a brooding side about him, but it is kept to himself. although he presents himself as a buffoon, in reality he has a very keen mind and an ability to see things clearer than most people. he likes to talk... but he also listens and tends to be both compassionate and ruthless depending on the situation. he is also brutally candid when he needs to be. but all and all, he is quite jovial and friendly... although it is impossible to determine when that is genuine or it is him 'playing politics'. enemies: he is a king, so of course he has enemies. he has enemies to spare. early in his life and reign it was that good for nothing bastard archibald douglas, 6th earl of angus and may he rot in hell, the king would say. although he does not hate his mother, margaret tudor, and do not deems her as an enemy, he does have a bit of resentment towards her, mainly because she married the said bastard, douglas. he dislikes england and by default, most of the english. he is not too fond of the french either, but he likes them more than he likes the english. ironically, he do like the castilians (spain), which as said is ironic considering catherine of aragon cost his father's life at the battle of flodden. but the way he sees it... he never met his father so no big deal. besides, he blames catherine's husband, the bastard henry viii and good riddance to bad rubbish! lovers: now this is a very tricky question. the most simple answer: yes! james is a womanizer of the highest degree, a man with a tremendous appetite for pretty ladies, be it commoners or ladies of the court or even princesses and queens. a renaissance man through and through, he is quite charismatic and because of his high education, a very good conversationalist and debater. the fact that he has a very beautiful singing voice and dabbles in poetry also helps him in his bed-hopping endeavors. it is damn good to be the king!

as mentioned above, thomas is a great friend and mentor and his door is always open for those who seek his help. he keeps his friends close to heart and never forgets about them. he will be the one who goes through hell and back again. but dare you to betray his friendship! oh, he certainly has enemies! i don't think i have to go into detail here... he's collecting them like others collect stamps. a word of warning here: be careful to pick him to be your enemy. he's ruthless and he can make it look legal. he's far from having lovers. no time for that! nah, just kidding. he's mysterious and hard to look through but he's yet a man. he certainly has lovers but is very, very discreet about it.
