@ciphertone liked for a starter!
Mabel did not like being this far out. At all. Granted, she didn't even want to be in ENCOY, but at this point she was desperate. There had been some people to meet, and fortunately she had no shortage of food or water (though it all tasted a little bit too much... chemically for her liking) up on those high towers on Ether Avenue. But as she attempted to venture even further outward, it only became more and more clear that this was not going to go well. It didn't help that her wanderings had brought her to Sunset's End, which was quite the opposite of the chipper and pristine-seeming ENCOY. But what else was there to do? Stay in a little fake paradise forever, waiting to hear from someone or something about where her family was, or even worse just forget about them and embrace this faux happy reality? No thanks. She'd already tried that before. Back then, Dipper had... "Oh, Dip," Mabel said as she looked around, "What the heck am I s'posed to do?" It was as she was wandering, lost, alone and confused, that anyone could see her. She would be standing out here even without her vibrant sweater that had more colors on it than the human eye could see. Then again, there was a stronger eye gazing at her, wasn't there?
