im figuring out cipher 6's (real) personality at long last.. i decided hes a cheerful guy who actually enjoys the pretending to be other people and the precision of his work. he likes shorter ops because hes impatient… his weapon of choice is a sniper rifle. hes got very steady hands.
funnily enough, imperial intelligence rarely sends him on seduction missions. hes very good at play acting, but he's too chipper about it. earnest, even. like, he would happily flirt with people for work, but he's just not good at it. he has weird and particular taste. complimenting the way a soldier kills someone cleanly, or the way a member of the republic turns out unexpectedly ruthless. he likes contradictions, and contradictory people...
i feel like hes missing a good chunk of his memories. the chiss have a memory removal tech they use in the thrawn series on their navigators (primarily little girls who pilot their ships through hyperspace manually) but it would work just as well on agents. less perfected, in this time, and it wouldn't destroy everything, but it means cyresk's memories of csilla are... foggy. hes got a handful of clear, contextless memories. he vaguely remembers signing up for the program to get his mind wiped and go be an imperial agent (who is actually a chiss agent, reporting to csilla) but he doesn't remember a lot of the feeling behind it... he assumes he must have loved csilla a lot.
he doesn't remember much of who he was before, and basically none of the associated feelings. he's a cheery, easygoing guy, but is that a mask too? he can be terrifyingly blank at times, if he doesn't know how to react to something, or is especially focused on work (that does not involve other people). in a way hes like an onion... blank -> cheerful -> spy mask of the day... he has layers... although arguably the blankness and chipper attitude are two sides of the same coin, so to speak.
then again, its all out of his hands anyways, so why worry about it? :)
