so, as a customer, i wanted to ask a question. i'm a perfectionist, and so if i'm in a store and i see someone has messed up a display, i literally can't stop myself from refolding the clothes and stuff. but if this actually causes more problems, i'll try to stop. like, does it make your job harder or do supervisors get mad if they know a customer fixed it instead of a worker? if it's doing more harm than good i'll stop, but i wanted to make sure because i can only imagine how hard retail is
It can make our job harder in some cases. Especially since there are certain ways of folding clothes in a retail store, if you do them all wrong, the employee has to go back and refold them all.Â
HOWEVER if you see something in the wrong place, maybe put it back in the right one? Or if there’s something you don’t want, either give it to an employee or put it back in the right place.
i feel u about looking for jobs; it sucks and they all seem boring and meaningless af. que the usual; hang in there bud, it gets better. let us soak in the pain of applying for awful jobs together
thanks bud! yeah its just rly annoying bc i also gotta think ahead to like, if i got top surgery or a hysterectomy then i wouldnt want a job that requires a ton of movement but i also want a job that i wouldnt die of boredom from :/ so yeah idk. but luckily alot of these jobs are similar so im hoping i can use the same resume/cover letter for them.
