Who remembers the HBO´s The Wire star? Of course, It’s Brandy Burre. The Actress explores Burre´s aspiration to reclaim her life as an actor, after retiring in order to start a family. But Brandy soon realizes that her own life is the role of her life. Revealing all the other roles – or should be say performances – in her life as a mother of two kids, a wife and a character actress, the film examines the notion of self-performance. Is Burre deliberately playing herself?
