The Hunt Gone Wrong
The Inquisitor followed after the trackers, the task easy enough. Hunt down this Magister traitor Relmarias Silverfury. She scowls behind her mask as the small group moves along through the landscape, the only place to travel, was south. From Silvermoon, he’d have to escapt through the city or the southern most gate. Her and her small entourage, as she searched, as she had some rather ideal trackers at her side.
The group gets moving, quickly following a nearly non existant trail, the trail went cold...except, once into the Forsaken’s turf, near undercity...She shakes visibly, thinking of the man who did what he did to her body, remembering what he was. But that was for another time, another hunt.
She had one if not two of her own with her, those who were near the Light house chapel, the knights ready, as Zealous as she was herself, it was time to move. it was time to hunt. On the move they would go, effortlessly moving, as they’d follow the trail, the trail had become hot, a death of a forsaken, a shadowstalker had given his route and on the move they would go. Each knight moving as did the trackers, The hunt, was on.
Move they did, three armored knights, accursed herself, amidst the three of them, the six hunters following with their pack mates, they were on the trail now, they were the reckoning to bring.
Subtle was not her thing, nor the knights, they had their prey, time to sink their fangs into the foe. Exploding from the foiliage Knight Inquisitor Gulianno charged towards the target, who turned with a start at the noise of suddenly three knights in red advancing upon him. Knight Telmarian close behind, these men were bred for one purpose, duty, and they would take the risks, the hunters stayed out of sight. Watching, to see what happened, wide eyed as the three went at the man.
He ducked and dodged, the on coming blades, he was quick, but so were they, she understood he was weaker, and so would bring judgement swiftly. But the man was smart, and would take advantage of the situation. Ducking behind a tree, Gulianno, ever bold, quick, and swift to lay judgement, comes around the turn, to halt in his tracks.
A blade through his throat, the man would stand ridged, and poised where he stood, attempting to swing one last time, to drop dead before his feet. Accursed stares at the fallen, then towards the man himself. The target bitterly staring at the two, he knew they would not take him back alive if needed, there would be no one to protect him. And on came Accursed and Telmarian, the two swift and fluid, but so was he, so was he ready, Accursed would get struck and thrown by a heavy spell shot, the blast knocking her from her feet. Telmarian closing the distance to be blasted with a point blank fireball. The man doesn’t scream, only moves, forward, steadily, slowly, a step at a time, Relmarias stares at the man almost facinated, to the point where suddenly, during the distraction, Accursed had unslung her shield, hurling it to strike the man dead in the chest.
Seeing him falter and drop to a knee, she thought it was done, till he swung up to finish her brother at arms, the trackers watching from afar as the man summoned down several demons even through his pain, spitting blood. Accursed stands, staggering, as he stares at her, she makes the signal, to run, as the men fled the sceen.
“ I am going to make you...suffer you light damned bitch, your sun, your light will not aid theee when I am THROUGH,’ He snarls as he steps up and gestures, the demons coming at her in a swarm. She stands her ground, giving the trackers time, she did what she did. As she stood her stance, slamming one, then the next, she stood there, fighting. Till she felt the sudden sting, and looks down, to see an imp with a dagger. Her body, growing numb as Relmarias grins, as the Inquisitor drops to her knees.
“ Lil Knight...I care not who you are...but I will make you BEG for death, by the time I am through with you...”
Accursed, laughs, and would look up, surrounded as she could, and stares at the mans face,” Death does not scare me, death was something I embraced...long long ago... Do thy worst,” she knew the suffering would be just the begging, but to stall the man, from escaping, she would sacrifice herself to bring such a man to justice...
