“Don’t you have a League tournament to practice for or something better to do than insult the best dog in existence?”

   Velvet blinked in shock at the woman. “I-I uh?” She was at a loss for words. She had said what she meant before, she only thought romantically about someone when she feels it, nothing more. “Th-That sounds terribly rude! I would never do anything like that!”She said indignantly, feeling defensive. Was this woman accusing her of such things? Or was she telling her that was what she needed to do? Either way, Velvet was not okay with that.
