1870s cinderella anyone?
Had the idea after looking a particularly really pretty blue dress on a fashion plate so I decide to re-do my "semi historically accurate disney princess" line up. Anyways, first look is quite simple, basically her movie outfit but dirtier since it's her "work outfit" and you know, she's "cinder"ella...I tried making her pink dress look like a refurbished 1850s gown, that maybe belonged to her mother, and was changed to fit the new bustle sillouette of the early 1870s. Thus the dress ended up getting shorter so laces, and details were added to complete it. I wish i made her end dress bigger but i guess it still looks fine, the dress is techinicaly simpler than the pink one but it's the shine and richness of it that are the main focus. Anyways, aside from a blue version i also did a more silver-ish version I'll put below.
Franz von Stuck - Cinderela, 1899.

✨️ Cinderella, Jacob & Wilhelm Grimm - 1812 ✨️
I remade this Cinderella piece and learned so much from it 🥹 More than anything, it made me realize that if I wasn't born to spend 20 hours on a single painting... then I don't know what I was born for 🫶 I truly love what I do so much 🥹
