You've got new mail! 

Last July 1, CIIT started implementing its new identification system. Entries and exits of students are monitored by scanning their bar codes on the lone entrances of the third and fifth floors.

The CIIT Student Council has announced that the Acquaintance Party is on the roll on July 25, Friday! This event is in cooperation with the league of CIIT Student Organizations, and CIIT College of Arts and Technology. 

Dubbed in a candy color theme and a smart casual attire dress code, students can expect a lot of fun and new camaraderie at the 9th Floor of RichPrime Global center located at Scout Limbaga in Quezon City. The SC will be holding room to room campaigns starting Wednesday, July 2, to discuss the event details.

Beginning July 1, students will drop the blue cityscape cards in favor of white instagram-like picture ones as CIIT will begin the implementation of the new Identification system. It is compulsory for all old students to have their I.D changed to the new one. Why do we need to have a new badge card?

The new I.D comes with a unique bar code in which you will swipe on scanners placed on Kuye Jen's and Kuya Sebio's tables at the main door of the 5th and 3rd floors whenever you were entering or exiting the school premises. When you swipe your I.D, your picture and enrollment status will appear on the monitor as well as any important notes or reminders such as appointments with faculty/staff members and tuition reminders. It is basically to monitor student's entries, inform them of any thing they might have missed, and control the incoming flow of visitors in campus. "This is one move of the school... because all schools are doing this, para naman kahit papaano masabi natin na 'in' na tayo or we belong. Your tuition fee is working." Ms. Cez Bacares, CIIT Dean, remarked.

Students could not enter/exit anymore using the door on the fifth floor reception area going into the class and lab rooms; it will be closed so no student can bypass through the new system. Since everybody needs to swipe their I.D whenever they enter and exit the school, the No I.D, No Entry policy shall be strictly implemented. The Disciplnary Office are coming up with regulations for those who will violate under the new school ordinance. -By Alex Nartia

Quezon City - In case you missed it over the last week, the CIIT Student Council made a few announcements concerning this month’s Lokal event, as deadlines for Disenyo and Galaw Lokal, shirt design and photography contests respectively, are now pushed back a week further to November 3.
