Ok. So. The idea goes like this. Babs and Buster were together for a WHILE, though not officially married. Babs wanted a family, Buster didn’t. So when Babs finds out she’s pregnant, Buster threatens to leave. She leaves first. To Portland. She decides to have Bailey alone and is actually pretty steady in that choice. She doesn’t regret not including Buster, though, she does sometimes wish Bailey got to be from a normal family. For a while she starred in a comedy series that filmed in Portland. When that ended, she dipped her toe into the vast underground performance scene and found that she loved it! (I have personal connection to MANY underground performers. So many of them have kids and are totally normal, open and incredibly inclusive families.) Bailey is supposed to be about Momo’s age (I know the styles differ and he may be a bit lanky....just roll with it.) He is bright, sweet and just....so Soff. He loves botany, music, learning new words and his momma. And he is also a HUGE fan of Yakko’s show. Which Babs finds hilariously ironic and encourages, even getting Bailey a handful of clip on bowties he can wear.  At some point, I want her to run into Yakko (because I am a SIMP for that ship) and if not, running into Dot at least and maybe creating a sharp witted, femme empowerment series/movie together. Which ultimately gets her dragged back to LA.  I would love to see Bailey end up in Momo’s class or them at school together where Bailey is being picked on by some other kids for not only liking flowers but referring to them with scientic names. He doesn’t entirely get that they’re being mean. But Momo does.
