ciel has a soft spot for finny, change my mind
don't say that ciel doesn't feel anything, no happy or joyful emotions, he does, but not to everyone. and finny is just that exception, with whom he smiles most often and is gentle
but at the same time I don't think that he's soft towards finny just because they are about the same age. let's be honest, this is far from the usual relationship between a servant and his master. no. finny loves ciel unconditionally, he's ready to die for his master, kill for his master. just give him a reason to know that everything will be fine with ciel and he'll be happy. finnian lives with this thought
Yeah fully believing this very first choice for a Phantomhive Servant was all actually o!ciel. Knowing, maybe after a few days or weeks of seeing this other kid go around accidentally destroying stuff, that he needed to learn how to care and grow things, be patient, careful, and also go outside where he could feel free and not closed in again as he tries to do new things.
