@chxpper "Stupid storm, stupid wind.” Martha grumbled the curses to herself. A violent storm had come out of no where, and in the insanity of the situation she had been thrown overboard (off her own ship) by a powerful wave combined with the rain and rocking of the vessel. She supposed luckily for her one of the smaller masts had broken, giving her something to keep her afloat in the water. Just hoping land or another ship or SOMETHING would come into view other than just open sea. Dehydration and just exhaustion from the heat was making it difficult to keep her eyes open and think clearly She shifted her hold on the section of broken mast with her right arm as her left arm was hurt and rather useless due to that fact. The captain hoped her crew was alright, but without knowing where she currently was, she had no way of knowing where her crew might have made port or where they might be looking for her. Shifting her gaze from the wood of the broken piece of mast to ahead of her, she was convinced she was hallucinating the ship coming into view, and it wasnt close enough for her to make out any real detail to figure out who the vessel might belong to, is it was in fact real and not just her mind playing tricks on her. If it was a marine ship, she didnt have the energy to fight off a whole crew of marines. Martha guessed her only saving grace would be if it was another pirate ship, who’s captain and crew  would be willing to let her on board. Deciding to take a gamble that this was another pirates ship she was seeing, she adjusted her position again so she was able to raise the pistol she normally tucked into the sash at her waist; firing three bullets in the ships direction, into the water beside it. Her aim was good enough even with how tired she was that she knew she wouldnt hit the ship or anyone on it, but if anyone was on deck or in the crows nest they were bound to hear the shots and maybe see her if they looked around for the source of the bullets.
