Hey guys! So this account has fallen into a long state of inactivity, and not because there aren’t still tons of people doing dansou out there!
Archive/Fresh Start
So we are going to archive everything here because a lot of clubs/cafes/groups mentioned here are defunct. However, their styles are still relevant.
I want this to be a brand new, freshly and consistently updated source so that means starting from the ground up!
Tagging System
Once posts are archived, there will be a newer and more organized dansou tumblr! Meaning a tagging system that’s easy to follow and is utilized each time.
Westen Dansou
Lastly, I do still intend to post and reblog western dansou, so that you have multiple examples of styles and not simply just Japanese references. Since this account is primarily used by westerners who want to do dansou, having that range will help show you ways to practice dansou effectively and show anyone can do it!
The dansou facebook is STILL lit as ever, so feel free to join there and share your pictures/tips/etc and look forward to this place rising frm the grave! Until then,
