11月にはエクアドルで何やってたかな、と振り返ったら馬でインカの古道を登ってた。3200mくらいまで車で、そこの馬主さん２軒から十数頭のお馬さんを借りる。まだ馬の扱いにも慣れず、いじめっ子の馬の後ろを歩くと蹴られて、わーきゃー言ってたころ。動物は優しいとかぜんぜんウソだ。Chunchi, Ecuador

市役所の同僚が送ってくれた今日のチュンチ。退屈だと思うこともあったチュンチだけど、緑ぴかぴかの美しい景色は、本当に見飽きない贅沢な悦びだったな。隊員がチュンチの辺りをバスで通ると、日本人ならハナってチニータを知ってるぞって、いろんな人が覚えててくれてるみたい。ホントお世話になりました、チュンチェーニョス。

食堂で無料のお昼をもらうのに、名前を書いてもらう子どもたち。週に一回だったけどホントに無料なので、日本で言ったら給食より、公の「子ども食堂」って感じかな。 珍しく、自分が笑っているので目が覚めた。ついこの間、学習支援に来てた子がすっかり眠りこけてしまって、お家もわからないし、この子どうしよう！ってみんなで笑い合っていたのを夢で思い出してたのだ。困ったことや目の前の問題を、ひとまず笑って受け止められる力が、最近ますますついてきた。解決しなきゃなのは結局自分達なんだけど、起きたことはしょーがないので前向きに。へらへらと楽に！
