Just arrived at @eobrewing and discovered 2 beers on cask so I dove right in to my find. My “Chocolate Caramels” brown ale is brewed with chocolate, vanilla and lactose and then rested on bourbon-soaked Ugandan vanilla beans. Smooth and creamy with delicious flavors of chocolate and vanilla. #Repost @womeninventedbeer i wrote and brewed my first beer recipe 🧙‍♀️ a few months ago I asked my friend Steve if I could brew with him. i wanted to know that I still could. after he said yes he looked me in the eye and asked “do you want to write the recipe?” no cap, no laugh. It both saddens me, and pleases me to say that this was the most I have felt respected or taken serious from a man in the Charleston beer industry. I worked very hard not only writing the recipe with Steve, but also brewing this beer. I was extremely close to quitting the industry, and being a part of a brew day again made me realize why I loved beer in the first place. It’s no secret that I’ve had a hard time lately, and have not felt support from most the local beer community.
