Chronicles of Xiaolin: Book 1 - Metallic Figment Cover Art Reveal!
Been meaning to share this cover art I did for Metallic Figment for the longest time, but kept restraining myself until we reached the book-titled chapter, which is Chapter 7!
Made this back in July last year, so imagine how impatient I was sharing this artwork until we reached the halfway point of the story.
Also yes, there will be various "books" that span throughout the story. But consider them as episodic rather than seasonal, bc we actually have a long way to go wrapping up this story arc.
How many books are planned? Not sure honestly, haven't properly outline them. But probably as many as the episodes in an average Xiaolin Showdown season. (13 episodes) Can't make any promises that it would be that long tho.
New and improved height chart for the monks (and now including Jack Spicer!)
The old one that I made in a rush was really poorly done, as I did everyone's design in separate folders and their proportions were inconsistent to each other when they're put side by side... so this should be *somewhat* on model now.
Planning to add the adults at a later point! Don't know when but it's coming.

Recently got a new CSP brush set and wanted to test them out by doodling some of the XS cast (and also some of my OCs as well)
It's also an excuse for me to show you guys how I color code them in doodles and small comics in the future lol
Wanted to show some more xiaolin OCs that ive been cooking since last year (you wont ever know what their backgrounds are until at a certain point in my fic, which would be a long time lol)
From left to right: Yushi (she/her), Feng (he/him) and Jiagui (they/them)
Made a new look for Raimundo's casual outfit + Designed his Shoku warrior outfit, and also redesigned his Wudai (or I guess it's Shoku now) aura
I figured now that Raimundo is the leader, his warrior outfit would've completely changed and be drastically different from the other monks; not just from a color scheme perspective, but the general look overall. I kept the red, black and yellow (gold) color scheme from his temple outfit because, well, it makes sense. (Also the color scheme goes hard.)
For his Shoku aura, I wanted to change the color to be more of a golden yellow outline, as well as adding sparkling astral stars to help him stand out from the rest — signifying that he is the universe's chosen leader.
(Also for everyone wondering, in my headcanon and the fic I'm writing, I kept Omi's aura as blue instead of white. All is finally restored lol)
