12. favorite character to write about this year

I actually have two answers for this. Well, regarding canon characters and my OCs

For my OCs, I say Nita. I didnt explore much of her before until my flufftober stories, and I decided to feature her as the central character in some of my flufftober one-shots. Most notably in Oh, the Mouse is so fine, in which her rigidness was challenged

As for canon characters... Definitely Pacifica as always. Its fun to write how she has changed and grown since we last saw her in the show, as a caring mother, a snarky wife and a generous philantropist. Of course, my direction for her differs from many others (like she can even be a nurse or an architect), but it's always a curious idea to me that she ended up richer than her parents, and this wealth is something she made out of herself rather than in her family's shadows. And I imagine she still uses her wealth for various programmes like helping lgbt youths or saving the environment (like I think Bruce Wayne would do, really). Pacifica's Christmas Carol offer me that possibility

(Bonus answer: Shermie Pines in my Jewish Pines fic continuity and his daughter-in-law Sarah. I quite imagine them to be close, especially when Sarah was dealing with marital issues with her husband. And Shermie trying to advice the best he could)

23. fics you wanted to write but didn’t

I got four unfulfilled ideas in fact, but I was also prioritising the flufftober fics and thus didnt really check back in my box of ideas:

Nita's visit to the dentist

Dipper, Mabel and Pacifica having a cheese bread eating competition

Triplets briading hair chain (I got a piece of commissioned art for this)

Triplets revising for a test (based on a joke when Nita gets pedantic over an answer and her siblings got a little mad haha)

Besides these four, I hope to eventually embark on Episode VII of my next-gen continuity, in which we are at the midpoint and more truths about Dipper are revealed

27. favorite fanfic author of the year

Well, I will say you, definitely. Among others like @siodymph , a fellow next-gen writer with whom I have fun bouncing ideas with. Then ofc @milkyboybluewriter for evaluating my story ideas and working them out. And other friends including @cresselia8themoon and @car9723-t

hi darla! i honestly don't remember when you sent me this but i've had it in my inbox for a while now and there's no time like the present!

- i like my sense of humor; i mean... i think i'm funny so sorry to everyone else who has to deal with that lmao.

- my writing style! i've really enjoyed watching the way it takes shape and continues to change. how i wrote even a year ago won't totally match how i write now, or how i will a year from now still. overall i find the writing process very cool. painful at times and the worst thing ever, but cool.

- over the last few years i've gotten a better sense of who i am as a person, and frankly, i kinda like her? she has her moments but she's doing pretty okay.

- my ability to build my own furniture. a lot of it has been flat-pack but most of what i have i've built on my own! i have an entire three bookshelf-wide bookshelf i did by myself and it was incredibly satisfying to put it up and start filling in the shelves.

People will die mad refusing to believe the Chiefs are simply good at the game.

9. longest wip of the year

current and unfinished fic? right now it's the post-me3 wip that's sitting at 12k. (its companion piece, the notes doc full of notes and DMs got up to 40k last night saghfjhsk) i don't have a set final word count for it just yet since most of my writing just ends up however it ends up.

12. favorite character to write about this year

since he featured in three fics in as many months, probably garrus vakarian. shepard's a lot of fun to play with, but there's something about getting into his headspace that i found fascinating. i can't wait to see what else i uncover with him.

13. favorite writing song/artist/album of this year

I love how the camera starts to move to where it assumes the ball was gonna go then jerks back bc uuuuuuuuuh. and all the other 49ers just like "............" staring at it.
