how does one jolt awake and find the light in themselves to push them off their festering, dying heart?
how does one jolt awake when one dies, bleeding their gouged eye into a festering fucking sucker?
when boys have their chest wrenched relentlessly, pulverized and shrouded into a disjointed form they can no longer fathom or recognise this is a task too difficult to process. even in his bones, even in his sighs it weighs and shakes faintly. the heart thuds weakly in this weak boned, weak souled boy, our chromatic oh sehun.
and yet, and yet!
despite the heart faltering and his soul ripping apart, there is a glimmer of colour, a glimmer of light that reflects in his chromatic self. and thus he stirs, he stirs ever so slightly, brows furrowed the mind wracked in distress.
(”my love, don’t cry, you’re too pretty to cry.”)
my love, my love. does his mind whimper his lips quivering in the semblance between sleep and wake, don’t cry. eyes screwed shut but his mindless whimpers slip through his lips, wet tears stream hot from his shut lids. the very sound of him shakily whining “my love, d-don’t cry, m-my love.”, does he wake from his frightful slumber of the wretched heart. and he is sudden despite the weak heart and the weak soul, his vessels electrify for this long lost dead love.
(for it will revive, and so should he.)
(for the love that was in his arms will survive and so will his heart.)
tears streaming, the heart pounding, his duvet torn off his body and chest searing and tight. jung soojung, love. love, jung soojung. the mind repeats like a mantra, like the only words that his tongue knows of, like the only words that his heart beats dearly and delicately for.
as if his legs suddenly found its strength (because this is for love) he leaps to the door, the liquid crystals slide down his cheeks, lips quivering in need, for salvation.
“s-soojung.” breathless. sniff.
the heart beats in thousands of beats per second that is barely feels like thundering beats, his head light and this fingers grasp the doorknob in conviction and there does he find love.
and he is breathless.
“my love...”
and he is crying. oh my love.
