#chrome profiles

you can be logged in to multiple tumblrs at once in chrome, you just have to create a separate profile for each one.

Hey guys! I know I've posted about this before, but I wanted to remind everyone why Google Chrome is superior to all, and especially helpful to those who run multiple Tumblrs, want to stay logged in to their side accounts at all times, or especially for those who share computers. You don't need two separate web browsers! Google Chrome offers a feature called Profiles, which allows people to make different 'profiles' that act as their own web browsers! 

This is my Chrome bar right now. I've circled the little icon that you may not have known was actually a button! When you click it, a drop-down menu will appear.

As you can see, I have a ton of profiles. The first one is the one I mainly use, the second for Rellik when he uses my computer, the next four are to keep me logged into my Neopet's side accounts, and the last three are for my other Tumblrs (personal, Subeta, and Acitius). To make a new profile, all you have to do is click New User!

Once you click it, it will open a brand new page that acts as it's very own separate browser! Favourites, extensions, histories, none of that transfers over to the new browser. It is exactly like having Google Chrome downloaded twice (or a hundred times, like I have haha). From here, you can just choose to skip the signing in step, and it will take you to the Chrome front page. From here, you can now edit your profile:

The one you are currently using will be highlighted. If you hover over it, the option to 'Edit' the profile will appear, and take you to this page:

My profile names all begin with a certain amount of X's, because the names order alphabetically. If you want to add more users, edit any of them, or delete any of them, all you have to do is go to the settings (you can also get there from pressing edit on the drop down menu, and exiting out of the Edit User options, as shown above).
