On my birthday, I was treated by my friend @terri8732 to the final #WestWingWeekly #podcast at the @theatre_acedtla, hosted by @joshmalinasjoshmalina (who shares my birthday) and @hrishihirway, featuring a conversation about the final episode of the series, "Tomorrow." The tantalizing rumors of appearances by @bradleywhitford and @martinsheenofficial1were happily borne out. They were joined by @marycmccormack, #JimmySmits, #AllisonSmith, #ChristopherMisiano, @teripolo.official and @eli.attie; delightful antics ensued. But no one in the audience at the Ace was prepared for a second act, and certainly not starring #AaronSorkin, @therichardschiff, @lawrence_odonnell, #TommySchlamme, @themarleematlin, @bird_york, @maffyfitz (who got @allisonjanney on the phone), @itskimwebster, #williamduffy, @pjsactor, #CharlesNoland, @mattydel, #EvanArnold, @ramondeocampo, @karis_campbell, #KevinFalls and #PaulRedford! It was as close to a #WestWingReunion as we may ever get...and (thanks to Terri) I was there! I do wish the photo were better; if only I'd sprung for an 11. When the show was in first run, Mom and I would watch the Wednesday night Wings in our respective homes, and one of us would call the other to discuss that night's show. Tears filled my eyes with that memory as I listened to Sorkin, et al, reminisce.
