The Amateur Cracksman 50th Anniversary 10 September! ✨
Raffleites!! Tomorrow marks the 50th anniversary for when the pilot "The Amateur Cracksman" first aired in the UK!
To celebrate, I will host a live (or, a "premiere" rather, in YT terms) of the episode at 21:00 UK time on my YouTube channel. That will mark exactly 50 years, since it is also the time it aired on television that night in 1975.
The episode is already up on my channel, which is why this "live" version will feature a partially colour restored rendition of the episode that I dabbled with some years ago (as seen in the GIFs above). It's far from perfect since I never finished it (it's veeery time consuming work), but I thought it would be fun anyway to see something more colourful than the faded original!
Assuming there are no technical issues, the video will show up on my channel at some time tomorrow and go "live" at 21:00 UK time. To join, simply come and watch it with us! There should also be a live chat attached to the video.
