Chicks on Speed: “Utopia (Christopher Just Remix)” (Utopia, 2013)

Semi-minimal tech house with a splash of acid and some feverish break-downs, the original mix of this track clocks in at ~7 minutes, with some pounding rhythmic sections helping it turn in a beefy performance.  Fatboy Slim and DJ Downfall provide two remixes to accompany it on the first disc, with Fatboy's slimming it down to under five minutes of cherry-picked beat loops, and the other serving it up in a saucier, clubbier, and more synth-centric rendition.

On the second disc, there's one more remix (this time by Olav Basoski), which goes on a 4/4 assault as it slowly introduces additional loops.  "Vienna Calling", a non-album track, closes out the set with a flicker-inclined assemblage of half-second blips and numerous computerized voices intoning the track's title as it builds into a hard groove.
