Cont. from here.
“Mondo, have you seen my calligraphy pen?” The small boy peeks into the room they shared, rubbing his beady eyes tiredly. Touya was usually the more organized one in the relationship; he woke up early, cleaned the house frequently, and always washed and ironed his clothes before wearing them, but somehow, today he was not as organized as he usually was. His calligraphy pen had gone missing. It was his second most loved possession besides his regular pens that he used to write with.
He had been trying to write Mondo a poem for their six month anniversary, but the pen filled with jet black ink was nowhere to be found. Touya figured that maybe his partner had moved it or used it, confusing it for something else.
♦ ─── Mondo was awoken by the sound of his name being called, sitting up from his half of the shared bed. The question had him furrowing his brow, pushing his long and unstyled hair from his face.
❛ Eh? Calligraphy pen- Oh, s’in the kitchen Touya, y’can get it later come on back here for a lil bit. ❜
♦ ─── A hand extended to pat the bed, a yawn escaping him as he stretched a little bit. It was too early for this shit, really, Mondo never understood how Touya could stand waking up so early.
"I don't think I can remember.. I'm sorry.."
“Oh… oh dear, that certainly isn’t good. Did you hit your head, dear?” Hm… how to ask what it was he’d forgotten without sounding ridiculous? Because no matter how the question ‘what did you forget?’ is phrased, it sounds dumb. “Where in your memory do things start to get a little fuzzy?”
