#choshi

Kyûsu (急須, small teapot) and chôshi (銚子, sake decanter​) collection, put together by Edo-lover Nadeshico Rin. They based this handy chart on designs seen in shunga (春画, erotic woodblock prints).

Some of the food I consumed during my time in Tokyo :3

I like Zaru Soba a lot :3 It is cold, has a slight radish taste and is perfect during summer :3

Ochazuke and Karaage :3 Ochazuke could be described as soup poured over rice :) It is easy to make and most of my Japanese friends eat it when they are in a pinch and need something to eat quick :D It is great though and I was happy I could choose Karaage as a side :3

Some Kaizenyaki I ate with friends :3 It is basically all kinds of stuff you like put on a grill :D We ate this in Odawara :)

Other remarkable things I ate were Kaizendon (raw fish on rice (a bit like disassembled Sushi :D), Shabushabu which is like a fondue but with great japanese vegetables and meat :3, Meronsoda (supposedly melon flavoured soda served with a ball or vanilla ice cream :) (I like this one but my friends keep on telling me that this is supposed to be for children (^-^;), Shiraae (some kind of stuff made from Tofu vegetables and other things I don’t know yet (^-^;), Udon :), Nattou (fermented soybeans :), Karepan (curry bread usually with a stuffing) and burgers at MosBurger :3

I miss the food in Japan a lot but fortunately there are a few good Japanese restaurants here in Hamburg :)
