They’re funny and sweet and we understand each other like no one else and songs that use to hurt me don’t bother me anymore because they’ve shown me how love is supposed to be: sweet, passionate, funny, soft, honest, wild, and safe

I thought I’d been in love before them, but those feelings were hollow ghosts compared to the absolute enrapturement they give me

I never thought I was worthy of attention or care but they’ve changed that and we’ve seen the ugly sides of each other but aren’t afraid to put effort and committement into our relationship

They make me want to be a better person

And even though the last year has been hard on me (school, seizures, super mental illness) they helped me realize there are reason to wake up day after day
