Keeping a secret ~ A.C.E Jun (part 2)
Part 1
Genre: Secret Agent!au, action
Warnings: none
Word count: 655
Pairing: Secret Agent!Jun X OC
Summary: Secret agent and Uni student Junhee leads a busy life. He keeps his life separate from his job. But if his mission starts to interfere with his daily life, will he choose his job over new feelings?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next morning Jun walked through the gates of his university and was immediately swarmed by unrelenting female students. As everyday, he had his earphones in, walking straight past the crowd of females. Well. He tried to. Until someone started to fall directly before him. Reflexes took over and Jun reached out, catching the falling girl before she fell face first into the concrete.
The silence around them was deafening. She looked up and both of them gasped simultaneously. She was Byun Nunbyeol. He was simply stunning. Jun helped her into an upright position and bent to pick up the books that were sprawled on the floor, somewhat similar to how she would have been if he hadn't been there.
He handed her the books and offered her a smile, putting on an act. "You're new, right?" He asked. Nunbyeol, still taken aback by his beauty, could do nothing apart from nod, clutching the books in her arms. "I can show you around if you want." He offered. She nodded again. He motioned for her to follow him with his head and started walking. Nunbyeol, as if drawn in by a magnet, walked close behind him. The silence was finally broken when she started walking.
The jealousy and bitterness of the students around them was audible. They had been trying to catch the attention of Jun for the past few weeks and the new girl managed to do it in a matter of seconds. Meanwhile, Junhee led Nunbyeol to the main hall. "What's your Major, Nunbyeol?" He asked and she looked at him weirdly.
"What?" He tilted his head. "How do you know my name?" She asked. She hadn't introduced herself to him yet he knew her name. "O-oh. The teachers said that you would be coming today and they mentioned your name." The lie came out quickly and naturally. Being a secret agent paid off.
"So, what is your Major?" He repeated, attempting to change the question. The unaware and surprisingly gullible girl believed him and shrugged. "Music." She answered, holding the text book in her hand out as proof. "Oh, really? Me too." Jun smiled as the cogs in his head spun. So is that why his boss told him to choose music? Had this mission been planned far longer than Jun was aware?
Nunbyeol smiled too, glad that he was in the same class as her. "Can I sit beside you? In class I mean." She stuttered. "Of course. No one sits next to me anyway. You can stick by my side until you feel comfortable around here." Jun looked at her and saw her face relax into a comforted smile. "Thank you." She said and Jun nodded, walking beside her to the classroom. They walked in somewhat awkward silence, seemingly thinking of what to say. "Hey, new girl. You're cute." A voice from down the corridor called.
Both of the young people turned around and looked at the individual that had called out to Nunbyeol. It was Bae Hangyu, one of the most annoying people Jun had ever met. In truth, everyone Junhee meets is annoying to some extent which is why he preferred to be alone. His own company had never let him down nor did it ever leave him.
Bae Hangyu was the typical arrogant rich boy with a rich family and a new expensive watch everyday. He believes that he will get anything he wants. And it seemed that he set his eyes upon Nunbyeol. Jun wasn't surprised. It was clear that Hangyu wanted whatever Junhee had and he had to get it or arguments ensued.
Jun wasn't confrontational, only because his special training could easily kill someone innocent, namely Hangyu but he wasn't going to point fingers. So Hangyu started to approach them while Nunbyeol looked at Jun, clearly unsure about how to deal with the situation. And that's when Jun rolled his eyes and stepped forward.
A/N: so here is Part 2 of this fic. I hope you enjoy it. Feel free to give feedback because it motivated me alot. Thank you very much.
