Cookie Run Kingdom song parody story: Lullaby for Knowledge (A Princess)
*Set 100 years after the sealing of the Beasts*
Elder Faerie Cookie:
It’s been a century since the Beasts have been sealed in the Silver Tree, and just as long since their fateful pets visited it to possibly say one last goodbye to their former masters. Just as i walked the pathways of the Faerie Kingdom, I heard a melodic song echo through the halls.
“Fate has been cruel, and order unkind. How could they have sealed you away”
Startled yet curious about its source, I followed the song in order to find the voice's owner.
“The blame was my own, the punishment yours. The harmony’s silent today”
As I followed the sound, it led me outside of the kingdom and into the dense jungle of Beastyeast.
“But into the stillness, I’ll bring you a song. And I ask your company keep.”
As I traversed the jungle, moving the flora gently out of my way, i can hear the voice growing louder as I grew closer to its source.
“Till your tired eyes, and my lullabies, have carried you softly to sleep”
My journey led me to a hill. I can see a cookie at the top facing the cliffside towards the Faerie Kingdom.
“Once did a cookie who shone with such light, look out to his peers and sighed.”
I ventured forth to confront the cookie at the top of the hill, to see whether or not they pose a threat.
“He smiled and said “Surely there is no cookie, as intelligent, wise and brilliant as I””
As I traversed through the foliage, I try to make sense of the lyrics sung.
“So great was his reign, so brilliant his glory that long was the shadow he cast. Which fell dark upon a student he cherished, and grew only darker as days and nights passed.”
I feel as though I know this story the song is telling, but couldn’t exactly remember where.
“Lullay dear Knowledge, goodnight friend of mine. Rest now in a silver lined embrace. Bear up my lullaby winds of Earth read, through cloud, and through sky, and through space.”
Could this singer have known the Beast of Deceit back when he was still the Fount of Knowledge?
“Carry the peace and the coolness of night, and carry my sorrow in kind. Blueberry Milk Cookie, still loved more than you know. Forgive them for being so blind.”
Once I made it to the top, I got a better look at the cookie who I can confirm was the singer. Their chocolate frosting flew in the wind as their rabbit ears occasionally twitched.
“Soon did that cookie take notice that others did not give his student their dues. And neither had he acknowledged them as they deserved. He watched as his students unhappiness grew.”
I decided to just listen to the song as I try to figure out who this cookie is.
“But such is the way of the limelight, it sweetly takes the mind of its host. And that foolish cookie did nothing to stop, the destruction one who needed him most.”
Could this cookie be referring to the rise of the Devil of Delusion? I thought Blueberry Milk Cookie was the only one who knew of his origins.
“Lullay dear Knowledge, goodnight friend of mine. Rest now in silver lined embrace. Bear up my lullaby winds of Earth read. Through cloud, and through sky, and through space. Carry the peace and the coolness of night, and carry my sorrow in kind. Blueberry Milk Cookie, you’re still loved more than you know. May troubles be far from your mind. And forgive them for being so blind.”
I heard footsteps behind me, most likely the Silver Tree Knights looking for me.I raised my arm up to signal the knights to halt for now, the footsteps ceasing as I did.
“The years now before us, fearful and unknown. I’d never imagined I’d face them on my own. May these thousand millenium swiftly pass, I pray. I love you. I miss you. All these miles away.”
As I watched this mysterious cookie. I noticed a pocket watch hanging off of their dress. embedded on its cover was an artifact I knew all too well. A souljam.
“May all your dreams be sweet tonight, safe in your bed of silver vines. And know not of sadness, pain, or care. And when you dream, I'll hop away and meet you there. Sleep. Sleep. Sleep. Sleep…”
As the cookie finished singing, they turned their head to meet my gaze. As soon as I saw her eyes, I immediately knew who this cookie was. She was the pet of the Virtue of Knowledge. Blueberry Milk Cookies chocolate rabbit, now taken cookie form.
“Elder Faerie Cookie. We have much to discuss.”
“Indeed we do, Bunny.”
