Has approving domestic violence really become so acceptable?
With all these videos of girls pissing off a guy, then she gets punched or hit. I grow disgusted with the captions people used that water down to, "she deserved it". I'm glad I grew up with an old school dad, who always taught me "if you hit a woman, you're automatically a pussy. unless she has a lethal weapon, and your not trained. Then a punch is just a natural reflex. But, if you watch it happen and do nothing, then your even lower than the pussy doing it." To which i would reply "what if she has a gun?" He would say, "zig zag, tuck, and roll... So you don't get shot" Keep in mind, my father grew up in rural Palestine. Where striking a woman was common, and he still drilled these lessons in my head. Yet these boys running around doing such a despicable thing, grew up in America where it is NOT in the least bit widely accepted. Then these people approving these actions, are even more deplorable. This is exactly why I learned how to fight, to defend the defenseless. Not just women, but anyone who needs help. Be it a child, being beaten by a man. A man simply out numbered. An animal being abused. A woman being struck... When I don't have a doubt in my mind if I should fight, my hands will be raised.
