Oblivion remake rant incoming

The way I see it, Oblivion has a bittersweet ending, like the main character of the story literally dies (I view Martin as a MC for the Oblivion's main quest, structuraly PC is just some rando helping out). The main theme of TES4:Oblivion is supposed to rally you up for the adventure and does so every time you open the game. HHOW can you slap them together, its such a tonal dissonance.
I know that without anything in the background, it might seem a bit awkward, even with the new animations. But the original handles it so well, why not leave it like it is, I just can't uuuuuugh
