“It kinda bugs me when Vocaloid/Utau fans treat Chipspeech like it's nothing more than a lower quality voice synth... every Chipspeech voice has a unique history and is an important addition to the world of vocalsynth. Chipspeech is meant to celebrate vocautau's ancestors. Without synths like DECtalk (Dee Klatt) or Bell Lab's singing IBM 704 (Dandy 704) you wouldn't HAVE vocaloid or utau. You have to at least appreciate it from that standpoint if you're using vocalsynth at ALL imo.”
