At work, and just saw this. I have a question. Who taught you how to knit?

I was taught knitting at school, but I was very bad at it. I think my mother had to knit the second sock from the pair we had to make :D I didn’t knit for years and years, but then at 20-21 I picked it up again, and pretty much taught myself. Ever since then I’ve always been knitting almost obsessively.
As for baking and cooking, the basics come from watching both my parents when I was a child, and also helping out. I have learned by doing, for the most part. I also bake weekly, so I guess some of it is down to sheer volume of the stuff I make. I’ve had periods of cooking more than I do now, particularly during my ED years. These days I occasionally like to make something, but otherwise it’s just a thing that must be done so I have something to eat. I’m not horribly picky ;)
