          semi finds himself raising an eyebrow towards shirabu—— though he’s not sure if it’s in amusement or bewilderment. this kid really seems to have no regard for respecting his senpai , huh. the snippy tone of shirabu’s ‘ shut it ’ makes him pause in his tracks , hand still holding the kettle aloft in the air. truthfully , he doesn’t much care for this sort of conversation , either. it’s moments like these when semi is reminded how tendou doesn’t seem to regard most social courtesies , ushijima doesn’t understand them , and shirabu doesn’t respect them ... and how their team is a bit of a mess when it comes to talking about anything other than volleyball.

          but maybe , just like all of the drills they do during volleyball practice , this sort of bonding is necessary , too. he’s not so much of a sore loser as shirabu not to share ; in fact , already , semi has given his answer—— a girl on the archery club , who also happened to be in his second year class in middle school. he liked the way she looked in her hakama pants , and how holding a bow seemed to give her immense confidence. but of course , he didn’t tell the group that much detail. it’s not really so bad of a thing to share , right ? ... unless , of course , the others recognize the person you’re talking about.
