Glad to have been part of the Singapore Literature Society’s (新加坡文艺协会) launch of 16 new literary works over the weekend. Formed in 1982, the Society continues to organise writing competitions for students and publish literary works of its members. I remember reading such publications since I was young. It was interesting to read the poems and essays in these publications as they talked about various issues and told stories from different viewpoints and literary styles.
