Doyle looked down at their wrists and sighed. Of all the things he could have gotten himself into right now. “It’s all a blur fer me. I wish I could tell ye ‘ow it ‘appened lad but I don’t even remember the night.” Then again Doyle often forgot what happened during the night when he was drinking. He held up their wrists. “Tell me ye at least ‘ave the key. Or it’s going ta be a long day.”

"Maybe we could stick around for one more drink."
"Well..." the demon said with a grin," There's only a few things I never say no to,honey, and drinking?, now there's certainly of them!. I'd love to stay for one more drink, crumb cake!, and in such a lovely company, how could I say no?."
Where My Demons Hide
Daniel was getting ready to close up for the night. He'd made the last call and the few customers who were left were cashing out their tabs. In just a thirty minutes, he'd be home and in bed. He watched as the last customer stumble out the door. He turned to put away the few glasses in his hands.
He hadn't gotten to locking the door yet. On any other night, that wouldn't be a problem. But a group of three vampires came rounding the corner. They only had two thoughts on their mind: booze and money. Both where things that Daniel had currently in his possession.
The door was pushed open and Daniel was facing the alcohol shelf. He didn't turn even though he heard them enter, "We're closed. You can come back tomorrow."
One of them responded, "Right now's perfectly good. If you keep quiet, might survive this encounter," he took a step forward as his vamp face dropped into place, "Nah, that'd be a lie and I'm trying to stop that vice."
Daniel didn't have to see the vampire to know what it was. The second the vampire started to speak, he caught scent of it. They had to be out of towners. There was no way they could be locals otherwise they would have heard about his fiery reputation.
Coming out from behind the bar, he narrowed his eyes, "You're not trying anything here. Over my dead body," he knew those words would egg the vampires on to do something.
"Easy enough," the talkative vampire shrugged as he grabbed Daniel and threw him back into the wall. But he couldn't do much else. The second he released Daniel, his hands lit on fire and the flames began to shoot up his arms.
Even though he smashed into the wall and went crashing to the floor with force, Daniel let out a chuckle. The other two vampires stared at their friend as he went up in flames. They were unsure what to do. With their eyes on Daniel, they slowly began to back up to the door.
That's when the door opened again and another figure stepped inside the bar.
