There are a lot of changes going on in the 3rd and Colorado area; one of those is the addition of the new Chi'Lantro space at Colorado Tower. Similar to the other locations, you can order your base rice or noodles, add your protein and toppings, followed by the yummy sauces available. While visiting my son in Austin yesterday, I made a personal record-three coffee shops and one teahouse! So many more to visit. I plan to go back to Monkey Nest next time and try a coffee drink. I had a berry tea drink this trip. I liked the atmosphere, too. Very friendly staff. My favorite is still Piknik, the first coffee shop I ever visited in Austin. They make a Bulletproof type coffee and broth drinks. When I visit in warmer weather, I plan to do a "mocktail" tour and enjoy cold fruity drinks. Also enjoyed lunch with my son at Chi'lantro and later after hubby was out of seminar, dinner at Threadgill's.
