âââ âOHPRINCESS,
Somehow, he was positive that the radiance of the sun was only this brilliant in the furthest reaches of Orb - where there was nothing but radiance for miles around. The land was invigorating to him, swallowing each morsel of his personal time. Athrun was irrevokably interested in the moments he spent here - alone. With her.       Orb's leader. The Lioness. The Princess. He had names, but each one meant nothing when it came to her, facing her. A brilliant, young, hot blooded woman who just so happened to rule over the most influential national entity in all of the world.       Of course, to some, she seemed frightening. He had thought the same after watching her take control of the worlds' television sets, standing tall, in her blue and white uniform decked in gold, with her golden mobile suit behind her. A frightening figure. But Athrun Zala was no less. In blue and white, he stood taller. And he looked at her eye to eye where he was. In love, happy. There was something great about ending a war, falling in love again, and trying to win it over in the most frivolous of ways. He was a little amused that she turned him away each time, but Athrun had his ways. He had every way to win her over, and some were a little crazy. But a war made a man crazy, and being ignored for paperwork - well that drove him crazy too. It was also, admittedly, the one thing Athrun knew he would always admire and hate about her too. Work. She loved Orb enough to ignore even her bereaved lover. Athrun planned something new this time. Something much more insane.       Tickets to see Poltergeist, the movie. At a small theatre, fit for two. Maybe a couple more. But the entire plan was to lure her into a state of misrest, slip his arm around her, and hold her while she cowered over a movie. Athrun had no fears, of course. Movies were nothing. He couldn't imagine being afraid of a film with his girlfriend in his arms, scooped away from Orb's meetings and details.       When he arrived at her door, he rung the bell, candidly. They lived in the same mansion but her room had a doorbell. She was always a little hesitant about giving people room to go in her room nowadays. She liked work, and Athrun liked to keep her fair tempered. "Cagalli - it's me. I have something for you," he called out. He tried to tempt her. Maybe she'd hear. He heard footsteps. Mission accomplished. He held up the tickets triumphantly, like he'd won some sort of medal or a token of her affection. His overworked girlfriend would have to fall for his date this time. He had so many plans set in motion.
