Friday, finally!⠀ Today's feature is the last book from the #ChicManila series, and it came out last year, and well, LYF is my favorite Chic Manila but this one is a close second. (Okay, so in my mind Kimmy is on the top tier and then Iris, Julie and Daphne on the second tier, and then everyone else. LOL. I LOVE THE WHOLE SERIES, but, okay.)⠀ • ⠀ Anyway, I reread BAWTY more than I usually reread favorites because the banter is F L A W L E S S, Daphne is such a Queen, Aaron is *swoon* *like inside AND out swoonworthy*, and the drama (of another couple 😏) is just.so.delicious!⠀ ⠀ I also love: ⠀ + Age difference (and why it matters sometimes, and why it doesn’t other times. *holler at ya, Carl!)⠀ + Their work ethics (Daphne’s was amazing!) and the contrast of their systems. ( Also Aaron ‘s help in that one scene where he’s wearing a black shirt is forever ingrained in my imagination!)⠀ + CHICHARON SALAD.⠀ + Helen (All of her. I love her, I hate her and Chapter 22 was INTENSE! You’d know the drama will come from the very beginning but when it finally does, Oh.Dear.Lord! It’s satisfying!!)⠀ + Chapter 24 Greg.⠀ + The steam. Do yourself a favor and get this for the steam!!! (buzzword: BACK MASSAGE! *and that's not even the steamiest part! arg)⠀ •⠀ So you know, treat yourself this weekend by getting this book if you haven't yet.
