Chicken Taco Stacks are a fun and flavorful twist on traditional tacos. They're perfect for a quick and satisfying meal, combining the crunch of baked tortillas with tender shredded chicken and a variety of tasty toppings.
Ingredients: 8 small flour tortillas. 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1 cup diced tomatoes. 1 cup shredded lettuce. 1/2 cup diced red onion. 1/2 cup sour cream. 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro. 1/4 cup salsa. 1 teaspoon taco seasoning. Cooking spray.
Instructions: Start by heating the oven to 350F 175C. Spread out 4 tortillas on a baking sheet. Add 1/4 cup of shredded chicken and 1/4 cup of cheddar cheese to each one. Add the last four tortillas on top to make four stacks that look like sandwiches. Use cooking spray on top of the stacks to help them get crispy in the oven. Put it in an oven that is already hot and bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the tortillas are golden brown and the cheese melts. Get the toppings ready while the taco stacks are baking. Diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, diced red onion, and chopped cilantro should all be put in a bowl together. To make a creamy taco sauce, mix sour cream, salsa, and taco seasoning in a different bowl. Take the taco stacks out of the oven and let them cool down a bit after they're done baking. Place one stack on a plate and top it with the fresh tomato and lettuce mix. Add the creamy taco sauce on top. Have fun with your tasty Chicken Taco Stacks!
