"I don't know why you're making such a big fuss about this," Jason grumbled. "It's a reasonable request."
"Oh my god." Tim gaped at him. "How can you not see that this is not only culturally insensitive but also horrible optics? You cannot collar and leash a wildcat in public, it sends the message that wild animals make acceptable pets!"
"Point of fact: You are not an actual wildcat. You're the one who said shifters wear collars in public!"
"During events for identification purposes! Which is unnecessary for me because my shift is completely unique." Tim loves his boyfriend, but sometimes the man just doesn't think things through. "And we never wear leashes."
Jason's shoulders slumped as he took on a distinctly hangdog expression. "Right. Sorry. It was a stupid idea. I shouldn't have even brought it up."

"Harley brought a hyena to Rogue Trivia Night a few months back, and now everyone is trying to one-up everyone else, but I've just got photos on my phone of me with caracal-you. Now everyone's saying they're fakes and I don't actually have cool exotic animal at home and Red Hood's rep is suffering, Tim."
