This makes me want to start reading the series. I got through the first arc but never really got into it. But this kind of character is usually my favorite so I guess I’ll try again (for the 3rd or 4th time.)
Haha, yeah, the first time I tried it I wasn't very impressed. It took 50-ish chapters for me to feel a real tug of interest, and then Arlong Park happened and suddenly everything was really good. I'd recommend getting to that point at least, even though it's a lot of chapters to read. Also, good quality scanlations can go a long way.

In the end I had to at least give him a cameo. I think all of my KnB fic that has any kind of plot will need to include the entire GOM somehow. lol I would die if I had another huge series on my hands. Of shame, probably, for neglecting the others. Ngl though I have ideas that would take place after I finish the AoKuro storyline, I just don't know if I'll ever write them. Like there's a possible MidoTaka story in this, and Akashi, well... Akashi always has a lot going on in any 'verse.
