Does Chevy act like a livestock guardian when he's in woof mode? Any barn cats on the farm that still treat him like normal?
Ehhhhhhhh if he's around and something goes on he'll intervene, but he is very much out an about doing his own thing typically- Frankie (the farm owner, I haven't settled on a design for him yet) lightheartedly thinks he's useless because of this
As for the cat, usually he's just aloof whenever Chevy is a person- but the snowball thinks he's more of a Siberian tiger when there are doggers around (somebody has to keep em in line)
