Day 4: Dance

Chelia sat at a table talking to Wendy as they watched everyone dancing. They were at the ceremony for Ren and Sherry’s wedding and it was the best thing either of them have ever been to. However, Chelia couldn’t help but wish she had someone to dance with.

“Hey Chelia, are you okay?” Wendy asked, noticing the way her friend was being a little less cheery than usual.

“Oh, nothing, I just really want somebody to ask me to dance,” Chelia said, blushing as she realized how ridiculous she was being.

Over in another corner, Jenny was pestering Eve to ask someone to dance. “Why can’t you just dance with your boyfriend and stop getting involved in my love life?” Eve asked, starting to think she would kill him if he didn’t dance at least once tonight.

“Oh, come on, there are plenty of young ladies for you to choose from,” Jenny said, continuing her quest to ‘help’ him.

“Yeah, like my cousin, she really wants someone to ask her,” Sherry said, as she and the other two Trimen walked over. Eve knew that at this point there was no escape and all of them were going to try and get him to dance with someone.

Getting up, Eve walked over to where Chelia was, figuring that there would be no harm in asking her to dance.
