hi im a bit late in giving my thoughts on rule breaker bc i had finals and interviews and tonight the whosfan votations for kd n all bUT HI
first of all i love this chapter so much :<<< just bc omg theyre finally tigether theyre so cute theyre so sweet and theyre making a long distance thing work which is really difficult, esp when they kinda just established that they both liked each other and they find so much comfort in each other and GOSH i love that sosososo much :((( that’s so important to have that someone (platonic, filial, romantic, however else!) that can turn your mood into so much better (kinda like stays w skz too tbh!)
i also love how she really tried to talk to hyunjin through the waitress after giving him time bc communication really fixes it all im so excited how itll turn out! ALSO ALSO very excited w how her article/writing turned out bc i fELT HER ON A PERSONAL LEVEL kinda out of topic and tmi but i used to write for my organisation and it was a bit on the political side i guess? like how he govt gives back to the community and my old head told me to be bold and expressive of my points as long as i could justifyit, which i did! but we got in trouble for being too expressive (bc the universiy said we had ti remain neutral so as to nit damage the University name) but tbh a lot of ppl r suffering in my country, the philippines, so i just felt the need to not only give my opinions but amplify the voices of the marginalised too and i got suspended because i wouldnt stop my form of writing, which is very far from conservative and too,,, honest? and so yeah i got to fix it but i stopped writing for them because i don’t mind putting a filter everynow and then but i hate sugarcoating when it refers to a prevalent issue and that i could let people know the truth but yEa i just felt her so well that she needed to change her writing style so as to feed into the wants of the boss and the general public and im so excited to see how itll turn out 🥺

Honestly, that moment of Y/N going to talk to Kat about Hyunjin, in my opinion, shows some evolution in her way of being. If this had happened in the beginning of the story, I don't think she would have tried to talk to him, I think she would have waited for him to come to her. I think this shows and reinforces the idea that she is no longer passive in her life and she is searching for the answers instead of waiting for them and I admire her for that.
I also hope everything will work out with the article. I always love to know how what I write connects to you so thank you for sharing your story. I think it is very brave and bold of you to write what you considered to be right and express your thoughts and opinions and the fact that you gave a voice to those who sometimes remain vulnerable and unable to express their opinion is something worthy of highlighting.
If I am being honest, I know little about the Philippines so I have no idea what kind of issues you face every day in your country. But I am glad that at least, you gave voice to a cause you believed in and by doing so, I am sure you inspired others to do the same and voice their opinions as well. It wasn't easy but you did what you believed was right which sometimes isn't the easiest path.
Writing about politics and political issues can be tricky, I suppose. I know very little about this, though since most of my writing is divided between scientific papers and fiction writing or writing about science. But always feel free to enlighten me on the topic and correct me if any of my statements are wrong or incorrect! I love to learn from others because as a writer, I consider it to be fundamental. So my inbox is always there.
