HI i'm a huge space nerd and i just gotta say how in love i am with your names for deepfreeze shadow and maria. idk if i'm reading too much into things but the fact that callisto is jupiter's second largest moon after ganymede feels like a reference to a larger force orbiting maria in this universe, either the biolizard or gerald/his influence (im assuming one or both exist), with maria being the center of his world and whatnot. also callisto being the only moon of jupiter's to be tidally locked so it's perpetually facing jupiter and never really changing despite being pockmarked by space debris and impact craters... like scars... and im guessing his freckles are referencing the wisps but it also resembles callisto's spots. i could go on with other stuff i noticed but i've already blabbed a bunch so i'll stop lol. there's so much to appreciate with your characters and i adore it

no joke ever since i first found mdlhea i’ve been at the edge of my seat waiting for each update, the story you’ve been telling is crafted so artfully and i just adore your worldbuilding and characterizations (especially shadow, i think you capture his inner voice sooo nicely)!! i feel like once the fic is complete i’ll go back and read the whole thing from the beginning as a novel so i can fully understand the depth and implications of moments that i think i’m a lil too dumb to get the impact of right now lol. the rollercoaster of emotions i felt reading ch 27 was Bonkers Bananas Coconuts and i’m so excited to see what act three brings. all this to say: live cher reaction
