Eun Hee shifted uncomfortably, turning her face away from the young man beside her. Typically she was all for cuddling, especially with Chen -- he was one of her closest friend if not her closest, and such things with him were always very comfortable -- but her recent revelations about her feelings for him drove her to feel the need to be as physically far from him as possible. She wasn't exactly sure how to express that without hurting his feelings, though. With a sigh she allowed him to pull her closer by the waist, ignoring the butterflies racing around her stomach. All he wanted was to rest his head on her shoulder for the time being. And keep his arm around her. And hold her hand. Eun Hee could handle that. She could. She would. She had to.
They were watching a movie in the living room, some romantic comedy (her choice since it was her turn to choose that night), when Chen, seeming lost in thought, asked her a question Eun Hee really did not want to answer. Do you have anyone you like? It would make sense that he was curious; the nineteen-year-old never spoke about a boyfriend or even a crush she had.
"I..." She trailed off and glanced at him, only to immediately look away. His face was too close to her own. "N-No." But it was a lie, and she knew it sounded like it, too. I need to get away. I can't handle this. Letting go of his hand, she stood from the couch. "I'm going to, um, get some water."
“It's 4 in the morning, is everything ok?”
She turns around "Yes, I just have a headache...It happens just before I enter heat. I'll be find." She smiles faintly as she clinches her head.
