I’m conflicted. He was never to be a warrior and yet he’s gotten so far. I can’t say I’m not proud. Our tribe wasn’t exactly a peaceful one—he does nothing our tribe wouldn’t have done if given the same position. Right now he lives an easy life of course—but I’ll never forgive nor forget the horrid things that have happened to our family because of the Legion. I do fear for what will happen when he becomes too old to fight. He has been healed, but sometimes his mind is still…scrambled. He strategizes well enough, but not as well as he used to. I always hope someone can convince him to leave. We could go to a place called Zion…back to a tribal life away from these bulls. But…

I hate that hair! It's tied to his stupid dream of becoming one of Caesar's guards. They all have that style. Ugh! What's worse is he uses damn glue to hold it up. I wish he would just shave his head. 

 I didn't get to spend much time raising him. But the few years I did--Oh, wonderful! He was as bubbly and excitable as he is now. Very intelligent...He was to be a healer, you know...
