sometimes I think ab how often twrp fans will perv on the members of the band and I get really fucking icked out. like. a lot. its truly one thing to, in moderation, think and discuss how hot they are? and its fully another thing to make it THE ONLY thing you care about. doubly so for fans who know their real identities, yall have to be REALLY fucking careful. that line is FINE. Ive met a lot of people like that and it makes everything they do seem really, for lack of a better word, disgusting. those things as a baseline (knowing twrp's real identities & thinking they're sexy) are fully things that I think can co-exist? but truly 1000% can only exist in moderation with CONSIDERABLE understanding of who you are to them, how parasocial relationships form, and how they effect you as a person. that does also go even for fans who dont know their identities (which is most of them, thankfully). parasocial behavior is so rampant in a lot of the deeper corners of this fandom and truly, especially with twrp, it inevitably comes to a head of being disrespectful at best and downright creepy and nasty at worst. and then when I call it out I get side eyed and coughed at like im being the weird one. if ur a friend or mutual or fandom brethren of mine and you see this and your first thought is "am I being creepy towards the guys when I make all these comments?" just. yknow. examine that. think on it a little. you dont have to come to one conclusion or the other this is a discussion that has no clear boundary, but it is ALWAYS worth examining. check your behavior whenever you're in bandom, its important. those people are real.
