dogs - i mean i’m pretty sure this has been talked about before but like, where’s all the heads? why only one? who stole your other heads, dog?
fish - canonically weirded out by fish that aren’t bio-luminescent/don’t have a lava colour scheme. although he’d have a fucking field day with maybe, like, a blobfish
birds - again, canonically zagreus doesn’t know what a bird is - referring to hermes’ boon, “almost like a bat wing”. to be fair, birds don’t have much business in the underworld, with the lack of sky and all
snakes - considering the amount of gorgons everywhere, it’d probably be the equivalent of seeing a lock of hair just... sitting there, maybe? weird.
cats - as far as zag is concerned it makes the flame wheel noise. cat is dangerous and will explode!
goats - okay this is a little unfair since no one can truly understand what a goat’s motives are, but it’s got satyr legs? half satyr? does it spit... half poison?
butterflies - there are butterflies in elysium that don’t want to capture zagreus’ soul, but who knows? he’d probably be at least a little wary. maybe like how people are with wasps.
